What Licence Do You Need?
To legally ride a motorbike in Thailand, you need your home country driving licence with a motorbike endorsement, and an International Driving Permit (IDP) for motorcycle riding. Without these, you are riding illegally β and your insurance is voided if you have an accident.
Do You Deliver Motorbikes to Jomtien?
No. Motorbikes must be collected from our office in Pattaya. We do not offer delivery for motorbikes. We do offer free car delivery to Jomtien.
What to Expect Riding in Jomtien
The Jomtien beach road is well-surfaced and relatively calm. Be aware that pedestrian crossings are not reliably observed by other drivers β always slow and check. Sand from the beach can collect on the road surface near access points. Evenings bring more traffic along the beach road strip.
