Pattaya Rent a Car: local car hire since 2010
We are an independent, locally run self-drive car rental company in Pattaya. What started on 1 January 2010 as a side business renting 12 cars to golfers is now a fleet of 100+ cars, SUVs, MPVs and pickups, looked after by our own team and mechanics and trusted by more than 1,350 Google reviewers.
It started at a golf range
Pattaya Rent a Car began as a side hustle. Our founder, Shane, owned Fairways Golf Range, and the golfers coming to play kept needing a reliable car to get around. So on 1 January 2010 we started renting cars to them — twelve cars in total.
Word spread well beyond the golf crowd. Holidaymakers, expats, families and people staying for months at a time started booking too, and the fleet grew with them — to more than 100 vehicles today, from economy cars and sedans to 7-seat SUVs, MPVs and pickups.
What has not changed is how we work: professional, but casual. We would rather look after you properly than sell you a one-off rental. Plenty of our customers come back year after year, and many rent with us for months at a time. That long-term relationship is the whole point.

We bring the car to your hotel, condo or villa, free within 10 km of our office. Further out, we quote a distance-based fee before you book. U-Tapao airport delivery is ฿2,000.
