Do you deliver rental cars to U-Tapao Airport?

Yes. We deliver to U-Tapao for 2,000 THB. Book at least 72 hours ahead and we will meet you in arrivals with a sign showing your name.

How much notice do you need?

At least 72 hours before your arrival. Send us your flight number so we can track any delays.

What do I need to bring?

Your passport and a valid driving licence. A licence from your home country is fine if it is in English. If it isn't, bring an International Driving Permit with it. The minimum driver age is 23.

Do you keep my passport?

No. We check your passport at handover and give it straight back. We take a 5,000 THB cash deposit instead, which is refunded when you return the car.

Can I return the car at U-Tapao?

Yes. Airport collection is also 2,000 THB. We meet you at the terminal and check the car over before you fly.

What if my flight lands outside office hours?

Airport handovers and returns take place within our office hours, 09:00 to 17:00. If your flight lands late in the evening or leaves early in the morning, please choose a different flight or arrange handover at your hotel within office hours instead.

Is insurance included?

Yes. Every rental includes first-class insurance through Viriyah Insurance, with a 5,000 THB excess per incident, plus unlimited kilometres and emergency breakdown support.

Cancelling is free at any time. Please tell us as soon as your plans change so we don't send a driver to the airport for nothing.

Do you deliver scooters to the airport?

Car rental at U-Tapao Airport

U-Tapao Rayong-Pattaya International Airport sits about 45 km south of central Pattaya, near Ban Chang. It is the closest airport to Pattaya, but taxis are limited and the ride into town is expensive, so many of our customers prefer to have a car waiting for them.

We are a local Pattaya company, running since 2010 with a fleet of more than 100 cars. We don't have a desk at the airport. Instead, one of our team drives your car to U-Tapao and meets you in person.

How airport delivery works

Book at least 72 hours ahead. Send us your flight number and arrival time when you book. Handovers take place within our office hours, 09:00 to 17:00.
We meet you in arrivals. A member of our team waits in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name.
Quick handover. We check your passport and driving licence, walk around the car with you, take the 5,000 THB cash deposit and hand over the keys. We never keep your passport, we check it and hand it straight back.
Drive away. Central Pattaya is roughly 45 to 60 minutes north on Sukhumvit Road (Highway 3).

Airport delivery costs a flat 2,000 THB, and returning the car at the airport is also 2,000 THB. The rental itself is priced separately, and you see the full price before you book.

Driving from U-Tapao to Pattaya

The drive is straightforward. From the airport you join Sukhumvit Road heading north, passing Sattahip and Bang Saray before reaching Na Jomtien, Jomtien and Pattaya. Signs are in Thai and English.

To Bang Saray: around 20 to 25 minutes
To Jomtien: around 40 to 50 minutes
To central Pattaya: around 45 to 60 minutes, longer in the evening rush
To Bangkok: around 2 hours via Motorway 7

Sukhumvit carries fast traffic, trucks and motorbikes. U-turns are made at marked gaps in the central reservation, so if you miss a turning, carry on to the next U-turn point rather than stopping.

Which car to choose

Every car we rent is automatic.

Economy cars (Toyota Yaris Ativ, Toyota Vios): fine for couples with a couple of suitcases.
7-seat SUVs (Toyota Fortuner, Ford Everest): the choice for families, golf bags or lots of luggage.
MPV (Toyota Veloz): seven seats with the easy driving of a car.
Pickups (Toyota Revo, MG Extender): for anyone moving cargo or heading onto rougher roads.
