The 36th Annual Bangkok International Motor Show will take place from Wednesday March 25 until Sunday April 5, 2015 at the International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Bangkok. As with every other year, the show will showcase some of the latest concept and production cars as well as a few motorbikes thrown in for good measure.
The show will play host to wide range of activities including rallying and off roading, car tuning competitions and a wide selection of cars from clubs around Thailand. One of the most popular events each year is the Miss Motor Show competition that started back in 1995. The show looks for ladies with outstanding personalities, good look and of course brains. There are always lots of men watching this event, and quite a few ladies too – all enjoying the view! The winner will take on a role of Brand Ambassador and be actively involved in other shows around the country and liaising with car manufacturers.
Of course being a motor show there will naturally be a car and motorbike of the year award. Thailand is now one of the leading car manufacturers in the region so will have a number of locally produced vehicles on display. Manufacturers such as Honda, Toyota and Ford are always keen to unveil their new releases for the coming year and sometimes beyond. The show is a great opportunity for a photo call to get the new vehicles in all of the motoring magazines whilst also a fantastic chance to get people signed up for pre-orders of new vehicles.
No motor show would be complete without showing a range of the luxury, imported cars that we all aspire to. The vehicles include the likes of Ferrari, Jaguar and Aston Martin to mention just a few of the millions if not billions of baht that will be on display. Many of these manufacturers will be revealing their ideas for the future in the form of concept cars – giving you an idea of what we might all be driving in the future. This is always very interesting and we can all wait with baited breath to see which of the ideas, if any, come to fruition.
Pattaya Rent a Car which is located on the Pratamnak Hill will stock many of the locally manufactured cars amongst their impressive fleet. Pattaya Rent a Car are the leading car rental company in Pattaya and take great pride in the range of vehicles that are available with the fleet being updated all the time.
